MARK RICHARD TASSET, MD, FACSDr. Tasset performs all aspects of adult heart and lung surgery with a special interest in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, ECMO for acute lung failure, mechanical assist devices for heart failure, and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR).

Dr. Tasset is a board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon, a repeat recipient of Phoenix Magazine’s “Top Doctor” award, and a member of the Phoenix Cardiac Surgery for over a decade. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix.

Dr. Tasset earned his medical degree from the Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE. He completed his general surgery residency at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Tasset completed his Cardiothoracic Surgery training at University of Louisville in Louisville, KY. He has board certifications by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery, The American Board of Surgery and the National Board of Medical Examiners.
